Sculptra® Collagen Biostimulator

Sculptra is an injectable collagen biostimulator designed to gradually restore facial volume and improve skin structure by stimulating the body’s natural collagen production. Unlike traditional dermal fillers that add immediate volume, Sculptra works over time to strengthen the skin’s underlying framework.

Sculptra is commonly used to address:

  • Age-related volume loss

  • Skin laxity and thinning

  • Hollow or sunken areas of the face

  • Overall facial firmness and structure

  •

Results develop gradually and are intended to be subtle and natural in appearance.

VI Peel® Medical Grade Chemical Peel

The VI Peel is a medical-grade chemical peel designed to improve skin tone, texture, and clarity while addressing a variety of skin concerns. It is suitable for many skin types and tones and is commonly used to treat both cosmetic and skin health concerns.

The VI Peel may help improve:

  • Fine lines and wrinkles

  • Acne and acne scarring

  • Hyperpigmentation and sun damage

  • Uneven skin tone and texture

This treatment works by exfoliating the outer layers of skin, promoting cellular turnover, and stimulating collagen production.

Your experience with advanced medical skin procedures at Sunshine Medical Aesthetics begins with a personalized consultation. During this visit, a medical professional will review your medical history, assess your skin, and discuss your goals to determine the most appropriate treatment plan for you.

During Treatment
  • Both Sculptra and VI Peel treatments are performed in-office and typically take less than one hour.

  • Sculptra involves a series of small injections placed strategically to stimulate collagen production over time. A topical anesthetic may be used to enhance comfort during the procedure.

  • VI Peel involves the application of a medical-grade chemical solution to the skin. Patients may experience a mild tingling or warming sensation during application.

  • Both treatments are generally well tolerated, and patients are able to return home the same day.

Recovery & Downtime
  • Downtime varies depending on the treatment and individual response.

  • After Sculptra, mild swelling, redness, tenderness, or bruising may occur at the injection sites and typically resolves within a few days. Most patients can return to normal activities shortly after treatment.

  • After a VI Peel, peeling usually begins within two to three days and can last up to seven days. During this time, the skin may feel tight, dry, or itchy. Patients should follow all post-treatment care instructions and avoid sun exposure.

  • Your provider will review detailed aftercare instructions to support proper healing and optimal results.

Results Timeline
  • Results vary based on the procedure and individual factors.

  • Sculptra results develop gradually over several weeks to months as collagen production increases, with continued improvement over time.

  • VI Peel results are often noticeable within one to two weeks after the peeling process is complete, with smoother, brighter-looking skin.

  • In some cases, a series of treatments may be recommended to achieve or maintain desired results.

Follow-Up & Ongoing Care

Follow-up appointments may be recommended to assess progress and determine if additional treatments are appropriate. Your provider will work with you to create a plan that supports long-term skin health and natural-looking results.
