Will the injections hurt?
Beauty is pain. JK! Your session may not be the most comfortable thing you’ve ever done, but we will tailor a plan to you to make it as easy as possible. This may include a squeeze ball, a nerve distractor bar, numbing cream, or numbing injections.
What is the difference between Botox, Dysport, or Jeuveau?
What is the difference between Kleenex and Puffs? Both are used for the same thing, but different people like different products. They have a slightly different molecular makeup, so each person may respond better to one or the other, similar to how you may notice a difference between brands of over-the-counter medications. Dysport is known to kick in a bit sooner, but they both last about 3 months.
Where do your products come from?
We purchase products from Allergan, Galderma, and Evolus, which are renowned international pharmaceutical companies that manufacture and distribute FDA-approved botulinum toxin type A medications and hyaluronic acid fillers. We promise never to use subpar products!
Do you participate in Alle or Aspire?

What if I hate it?
If you hate it, tell us! We may need to pivot our treatment plan because of how you, your muscles, and your body react to our medications and treatments. Dose adjustments are an option! Plus, these are not permanent treatments. Your Tox will wear off, your filler will reabsorb, or, if needed, we can use a medication to dissolve your filler.
Will my friends or husband be able to tell I had work done?
The goal is that you will still look like you! I think you are beautiful. Let’s build on that. I will consider it a great success if your bestie says that you look like you just got a great night of sleep.
Where did the name come from?
Phoebe grew up in the mountains outside Boulder, CO, in Sunshine Canyon. When she was in high school, her friend, Noah Janssen, wrote a poem about her and her friends. He referred to her as “the laugher” and noted that she “makes the grey sun shine.” Shining has been her goal ever since and also happens to be what “Phoebe” means in Greek. When you walk out of Sunshine Medical Aesthetics, we want you to feel like you are shining too.
