Neurotoxins
(Botox & Dysport)
Botox and Dysport are neuromodulators that work by temporarily relaxing targeted facial muscles. This helps reduce the appearance of dynamic wrinkles caused by repetitive facial expressions, such as frowning, squinting, or raising the eyebrows.
These treatments are commonly used to address areas such as:

Botox and Dysport treatments are quick, minimally invasive, and require little to no downtime. Results typically begin to appear within several days and can last approximately three to four months, depending on the individual.
Dermal Fillers
Dermal fillers are injectable gels, most commonly made from hyaluronic acid, that are used to restore volume, enhance facial contours, and smooth deeper lines or folds. Hyaluronic acid is a substance naturally found in the body that helps maintain hydration and structure in the skin.

Results from dermal fillers are visible immediately after treatment, with continued improvement as the product settles. Depending on the type of filler used and the treatment area, results can last anywhere from several months to over a year.

SkinVive is a hyaluronic acid–based injectable designed to improve skin quality rather than add volume or change facial shape. It works by increasing hydration within the skin, helping to improve smoothness, texture, and overall radiance.
SkinVive is commonly used in areas such as the cheeks to enhance skin appearance from within. The treatment is ideal for patients looking for a subtle refresh and a more hydrated, glowing complexion.
Results develop gradually and can last up to six months, depending on individual skin characteristics and lifestyle factors.
Pre-Treatment

Schedule your treatment around your life. It's best to be treated at least 2-4 weeks before any significant events so that any bruising or irritation has resolved by your big day.

Avoid medications or supplements that increase risk of bruising for 3 days before treatment. These include Aleve, Advil, ibuprofen, naproxen, aspirin, fish oil, Ginko, Biloba, St. John’s Wort, and garlic supplements or high doses of vitamin E.

Avoid alcohol for 24 hours before treatment to reduce the risk of bruising.
The Day Of

If you are an avid exerciser, get your sweat sesh in before your appointment.

Arrive at your appointment well hydrated. Don’t forget to eat before your appointment! It helps to have had a snack prior.
Post-Treatment

Keep your head above your heart for the next 4 hours. This is to keep the medication from migrating into other muscle groups.

Avoid anything that will make you flushed or sweaty for the rest of the day. This is to keep the medication from getting “washed away” by increased blood flow before the medication can bind to the receptors in your cells where it does its work.

Don’t rub your face or smoosh it with anything like headbands or hats.

Expect some mild tenderness or headache for minutes to days. You can use Tylenol if you need something for pain.

Bruising and swelling are expected.
-
Avoid facials or massages for 7 days after your treatment.
